Its biggest attraction is the "Sky Cart," an automated sightseeing cart that allows anyone to easily ascend to the clouds at an altitude of 1,420m. The 25-minute one-way trip to the summit takes you through birch forests and seasonal flowers, offering a relaxing experience without the need to hold a steering wheel.
From the "Hill of Nostalgia Observation Deck" in the Forest of Creation, the destination, a magnificent 180-degree panoramic view unfolds, offering a vista of Japan's proud peaks: Mt.Fuji, Mt. Kitadake, and Mt. Okuhotakadake. The area features approximately 50 sculptures scattered throughout, forming an outdoor art museum, the "Bell of the Sky" ringing above the clouds, and a cafe terrace where you can relax while enjoying the spectacular scenery. The landscape changes dramatically throughout the seasons: in spring, it's a "flower village" with sky carts and lush greenery; in summer, approximately one million zinnias bloom; in autumn, the leaves turn golden; and in winter, it transforms into a ski resort.
