A nature park where you can discover the natural beauty of the Southern Alps, nestled amidst pristine water and forests.

Based on the theme of "Pure Water, Forests, and People," this nature park, spanning approximately 60,000 tsubo (about 200,000 square meters), is a discovery-type nature park located in Hakushu-cho, Hokuto City, Yamanashi Prefecture. Surrounded by the clear waters of the Ojiragawa River, selected as one of Japan's 100 best waters, and the lush forests at the foot of Mount Kai-Komagatake, the park offers a variety of facilities and Activity that can be enjoyed by people of all ages throughout the day. As a base for the "Southern Alps UNESCO Eco-Park," it is also a place where you can experience the coexistence of nature and people.
The park is divided into five zones: the "Forest Zone" where you can stroll along forest trails, the "Riverside Zone" where river activities and water slides are popular, the "Central Zone" where events are held, the "Camping Zone" where you can enjoy authentic auto camping, and the "Salt Spa Zone" with the highly concentrated natural Hot springs "Ojiro no Yu". The mineral-rich water that gushes from deep underground and the open-air bath with views of the Yatsugatake and Southern Alps provide the ultimate moment to end a day of fun. There are also plenty of seasonal events, such as catching rainbow trout and making Baumkuchen.
