About use
- What's the weather like?

Located on a plateau at an altitude of 1,500m, the climate is very comfortable in summer, with an average maximum temperature of 25°C and an average minimum temperature of 15°C.
In some cases, it may be too cool in the mornings and evenings to just wear a T-shirt, so it is a good idea to bring an extra layer of clothing.
As a rough guide, you can expect to visit one month later than in the city in spring and summer, and one month earlier in autumn and winter.
Snow falls from mid-November to April, so please dress warmly. Also, if you are driving, please be sure to bring chains or studless tires. - Can pets stay with us?

If you are traveling with your dog, please use Tateshina Wan Wan Paradise Cottage. - What about cleaning when I stay multiple nights?

If you are staying for multiple nights and do not require cleaning during your stay, please let us know in advance when making your reservation and we will provide you with an eco-bag.
- Is there a place to park my car? Or is there a parking lot?

There is free outdoor parking for approximately 120 cars, combined at the first and second parking lots.
- Won't you lay out the futon for me?

Check-in is from 15:00 and check-out is until 11:00.
- Can I use credit cards or cashless payments?

We accept major credit cards, PayPay, and au pay. Payment is by lump sum only.
- Are there any smoking rooms? Or non-smoking rooms?

Smoking is prohibited inside the building, so if you wish to smoke, please use the designated smoking area.
- Is there Wi-Fi?

Free Wi-Fi is available throughout the hotel, including Guest rooms, lobby, and Restaurant.
About reservations
- When do cancellation fees start to apply?

If you make changes or cancellations due to your own reasons, change or cancellation fees will be charged at the rates listed below.
If you change your reservation (reduction in the number of people, etc.), you will be charged a change fee similar to the cancellation fee.
・If you cancel between 7 days and 2 days in advance, 20% of the accommodation fee
・If you cancel one day in advance, 50% of the accommodation fee
・If you check out on the day, 70% of the accommodation fee
・If there is no contact on the day, 100% of the accommodation fee will be charged
- Cancellation notice due to natural disasters such as typhoons and earthquakes -
Cancellation fees will not be charged if expressways are closed or public transportation is suspended due to natural disasters. Cancellation fees will be charged if transportation is expected to be suspended.
*If you change the date once, there will be no cancellation fee. - What age group is suitable for co-sleeping?

Children aged 0 to 3 years old are considered to be infants, so there is no accommodation fee if they share a bed with their parents.
- I want to choose a cottage or a room to stay in.

Unfortunately, we cannot accept requests for specific room numbers.

About Guest rooms
- Are there safes in Guest rooms?

There is a safe in Guest rooms.
When bathing, please use the lockers with locks located in the large public bath. - Does it have a heated toilet seat?

All toilets in the building, including public spaces, are equipped with flushing machines.
- What amenities are available?

Towels, toothbrushes, razors, shampoo, conditioner, body soap, and hand soap are provided in the room.
- Do you have sleepwear and loungewear?

Yukata robes are provided for guest use.
We usually have medium size, but we also have large sizes available, so please ask at the front desk. - What equipment is available in the kitchen?

The following equipment is available at the front desk for rooms with kitchens. If you would like to borrow it, please ask the front desk staff when you make your reservation or after your arrival.
Please note that there are limited supplies and we may not be able to lend out certain items.

All rooms are equipped with panel heaters.
There is no air conditioning, so please open the windows and let in the fresh mountain air.
About Food
- Is there a children's Food?

Restaurant offers children's lunches for elementary school and preschool children. If you would like the same meal as adults, please make a reservation as an adult.
- Is there lunch service?

Restaurant is not open for lunch.
- Is there a dress code at Restaurant?

There are no particular restrictions on clothing.
- If I stay for more than two nights, will Food contents change?

For both Japanese and Western meals, the menu will be changed if you stay for multiple nights.
*Dinner: Available for up to three consecutive nights. The fourth night will have the same menu as the first night, and will be repeated every three nights thereafter.
*Breakfast: Available for up to two consecutive nights. The third night will have the same breakfast as the first night, and will be repeated every two nights thereafter. - Can I make a reservation for Restaurant?

Unfortunately, we are unable to accept reservations in advance. Please note that we will accommodate guests in order of arrival.
- There are some foods I can't eat because of allergies...

We offer a special menu (low-allergen menu) that removes as many of the eight specified allergens as possible.
For buffets, we have food allergy information displayed, so please refer to this before making your decision about what to eat or drink.
About the large bath and Hot springs
- Can I use the large public bath for day trips?

Visitors can also use the facility only for bathing.
The usage fee is 1,200 yen for adults and 600 yen for children.
Towel rentals are also available (110 yen).
*Admission may be restricted during busy times.
*All prices include consumption tax and service charge. - Are there Hot springs?

We have a large Hot springs bath that uses Tateshina Hot springs (Tarugasawa Hot springs), which boasts some of the best water quality in the Tateshina area.
There are no towels provided in Hot springs bath, so please bring your own towels from your room.
Please note that children who are still in diapers are not allowed to bathe.
Access
- Is there a shuttle bus?

There is a free shuttle bus between Chino Station and Sakudaira Station and the hotel. Advance reservations are required by 6:00 PM the day before, so please make your reservation on the shuttle bus reservation website.
- Where is the nearest interchange?

Joshinetsu Expressway: Approximately 50 minutes by car from Saku IC
In the case of the Chuo Expressway...approximately 50 minutes by car from Suwa IC - Is there a map of the area around the accommodation?

- Can I order a cake for an anniversary?

- Can I send my luggage in advance?

There are charging stations available on the hotel premises for a fee.
Fee: 2,200 yen per session (payable at the front desk) - Is it okay if an elderly person or a wheelchair user accompanies me?

We regret to inform you that not all Guest rooms are barrier-free.
Although there are a limited number of wheelchairs available, please feel free to ask at the front desk. - Can I get medicine at the front desk?

In accordance with Article 24 of the Pharmaceutical and Medical Device Act (formerly the Pharmaceutical Affairs Act), our hotel does not provide pharmaceuticals.
We apologize for the inconvenience, but we ask that you prepare your supplies before your trip or visit, or ask the front desk for information on hospitals and pharmacies in the area. (Please note that supplies may not be available depending on the time of day or day of the week.)
We appreciate your understanding and cooperation. - Is there a coin laundry?

There are coin laundry machines and dryers in two locations within the building.
The laundry is equipped with an automatic detergent dispenser, so you don't need to bring your own laundry detergent. - Is there anything I can rent?

We offer free rental of humidifiers, irons, thermometers, ice packs, and bed guards.
