About use
- What about cleaning when I stay multiple nights?

Cottage cleaning will only be carried out upon request from the third night onwards for stays of four nights or more.
If you would like your towels replaced, please inform the front desk in the morning. - Won't you lay out the futon for me?

- What time is check-in and check-out?

Check-in is from 15:00 and check-out is until 11:00.
- Can I use credit cards or cashless payments?

We accept major credit cards, PayPay, and au pay. Payment is by lump sum only.
- Where do I check in and check out?

Check-in and check-out procedures will be carried out at the front desk of TATESHINA LAKE RESORT.
There is a parking space available, so please park your car and then come inside the building.
Also, dogs are not allowed inside the hotel building, so please leave them in the car while the procedure is being carried out. - Do you have sleepwear and loungewear?

There is no sleepwear provided in the cottage, so please bring your own.
If you require a yukata, please ask at the front desk, as we can provide one for a fee (330 yen per yukata, tax included). - Can I use facilities such as the dog run on a day trip?

Non-guests may also use the facilities (for a fee). However, priority is given to guests staying at the hotel on weekends and during peak seasons, so we may have to decline your request.
- If I arrive early, can I still use facilities such as the dog run?

You can use the dog run before check-in and after check-out. Please complete the registration procedure at the front desk in advance.
- Are there any smoking rooms? Or non-smoking rooms?

Smoking is prohibited inside all cottages.
- What's the weather like?
-
Located on a plateau at an altitude of 1,500m, the climate is very comfortable in summer, with an average maximum temperature of 25°C and an average minimum temperature of 15°C.
In some cases, it may be too cool in the mornings and evenings to just wear a T-shirt, so it is a good idea to bring an extra layer of clothing.
As a rough guide, you can expect to visit one month later than in the city in spring and summer, and one month earlier in autumn and winter.
Snow falls from mid-November to April, so please dress warmly. Also, if you are driving, please be sure to bring chains or studless tires. - Is there Wi-Fi?

About reservations
- When do cancellation fees start to apply?
-
If you make changes or cancellations due to your own reasons, change or cancellation fees will be charged at the rates listed below.
If you change your reservation (reduction in the number of people, etc.), you will be charged a change fee similar to the cancellation fee.
・If you cancel between 7 days and 2 days in advance, 20% of the accommodation fee
・If you cancel one day in advance, 50% of the accommodation fee
・If you check out on the day, 70% of the accommodation fee
・If there is no contact on the day, 100% of the accommodation fee will be charged
- Cancellation notice due to natural disasters such as typhoons and earthquakes -
Cancellation fees will not be charged if expressways are closed or public transportation is suspended due to natural disasters. Cancellation fees will be charged if transportation is expected to be suspended.
*If you change the date once, there will be no cancellation fee. - What age group is suitable for co-sleeping?

Children aged 0 to 3 years old are considered to be infants, so there is no accommodation fee if they share a bed with their parents.
About Guest rooms
- Is there air conditioning?

Forest View Cottage does not have air conditioning, so please open the windows and let in the fresh mountain air.
- Are there safes in Guest rooms?

There are no safes in Guest rooms.
Valuables can be stored at the front desk if you wish.
When bathing, please use the free small lockers with keys located in the large public bath. - What amenities are available?

Towels, toothbrushes, razors, shampoo, conditioner, body soap, and hand soap are provided in the room.

A full set of cooking utensils is provided, so you can enjoy authentic cooking.

About Food
- Is there a children's Food?

Restaurant offers children's lunches for elementary school and preschool children. If you would like the same meal as adults, please make a reservation as an adult.
We do not offer children's lunches at the buffet venue, but we do have menus that children can enjoy.
For catering, we will provide the same items as for adults, but in different quantities. - Is there a dress code at Restaurant?

There are no particular dress code restrictions, however, please refrain from wearing room wear or yukata.
- Is there lunch service?

Restaurant is not open for lunch.
- If I stay for more than two nights, will Food contents change?

For both Japanese and Western meals, the menu will be changed if you stay for multiple nights.
Also, if you are using the food delivery (catering) plan, please choose between sukiyaki or shabu-shabu for each night when making your reservation. - There are some foods I can't eat because of allergies...

We offer a special menu (low-allergen menu) that removes as many of the eight specified allergens as possible.
For buffets, we have food allergy information displayed, so please refer to this before making your decision about what to eat and drink.
About the large bath and Hot springs
- Can I use the large public bath for day trips?

Visitors can also use the facility only for bathing.
The usage fee is 1,200 yen for adults and 600 yen for children.
Towel rentals are also available (110 yen).
*Admission may be restricted during busy times.
*All prices include consumption tax and service charge. - Can I take my dog in the bath too?

Please note that bathing with dogs is not permitted.
- Are there Hot springs?

Guests can use the large Hot springs bath at TATESHINA LAKE RESORT which is a 5-minute drive away.
There are no towels provided in the hotel's large Hot springs bath, so please bring the towels provided in your cottage.
Please note that children who are still in diapers are not allowed to bathe.
Bathing fee for guests staying at the hotel: 600 yen for adults, 300 yen for children
Access

- Is there a shuttle bus?

There is a free shuttle bus between Chino Station and Sakudaira Station and TATESHINA LAKE RESORT. Advance reservations are required by 6:00 PM the day before, so please make your reservation on the shuttle bus reservation website.
About dogs
- Can I give my dog a bath in Guest rooms?

Please refrain from using the bath in Guest rooms.
- Can I leave my dog in the room while I go out? / I'd like someone to look after my dog when I go out...

At the owner's discretion, pets can be left in the room temporarily if they are kept in a cage or pen.
However, if a dog is left alone in a new place for a long period of time, it may become very stressed and may bark frantically, destroy things, or become ill, so please be considerate and do not place a burden on your dog. - Can I bring my dog into the hotel?

Please be sure to bring a lead with you as we ask that you keep your pet on a lead in public places.
In addition, to help promote relaxation for your dog, please bring along the dog's usual supplies (familiar food, dishes, bedding, toys, etc.) Toilet sheets, sticky rollers, deodorizers, septic bags, handy mops, paw towels, buckets, cages, foldable playpens, etc. are provided in each room. - Can I bring animals other than dogs?

- Can I sleep in the same bed or futon as my dog?

If you wear Mannerwear, your dog can sleep in your bed or futon with you.
- Can I keep my dog off-leash inside the building?

Please keep your dog on a leash in public places, with the exception of some facilities such as Guest rooms and dog runs. Please note that some dogs may not like or be scared of other dogs, so we ask for your cooperation.
- I can't get vaccinated, is that okay?

*Regarding vaccinations, we can also provide services for unvaccinated dogs if there is a reasonable reason, such as senior dogs, allergies, or as determined by a veterinarian.
- Can any dog stay?

Dogs allowed inside the facility must be indoor dogs that have received a rabies vaccination once a year, as well as a valid vaccination or antibody test, and that have basic training. Also, we do not accept dogs in heat or dogs under 4 months of age. There are no restrictions on dog breed or size (small, medium, large, extra-large). There is also no limit on the number of dogs allowed, so those with multiple pets can use the facility with peace of mind.

We have several veterinary clinics in Chino City, Saku City, and Ueda City (approximately 30 to 60 minutes by car).
- Is it okay if an elderly person accompanies me?

We are sorry, but the facility is not barrier-free. There are some steps, stairs, and approaches at the entrance and cottage entrances.
- Is there a coin laundry?

There is no coin laundry on the premises of Wan Wan Paradise Tateshina.
Our sister hotel, TATESHINA LAKE RESORT, has a coin laundry and dryer on-site, which can also be used by guests staying in cottages.
