There are approximately 800 cherry trees lined along the Meguro River in the Meguro Ward area and approximately 700 in the Shinagawa Ward area, and when the trees bloom, the surface of the river is dyed pink, creating a spectacular sight.

The cherry blossom-lined streets of Meguro River are crowded with many visitors every year. The streets are lined with stylish cafes and Restaurant, making it a great place to enjoy a stroll and gourmet food at the same time. Another attraction is that Access is close to the station and easily accessible, making it easy to drop in.

In addition, the park is lit up at night, creating a completely different, fantastical atmosphere than during the day. You will be moved by the beauty of the moment when the cherry blossom petals are illuminated. It is also a great place for a date with friends or a loved one.

Recently, cherry blossom viewing experiences using cruise ships have also become popular. Chidorigafuchi Cherry Blossom Tunnel and Boat Trip

The row of cherry trees along the outer moat of the Imperial Palace is lined with blossoms that bloom like a tunnel, and cherry blossom viewing from a boat is also popular.

Chidorigafuchi is one of Tokyo's most famous cherry blossom viewing spots, attracting many tourists every year. Walking through the arch-shaped cherry blossom tunnel, you can feel as if you are walking through the flowers. Another attraction is that you can enjoy the tranquil atmosphere even though it is in the city center.

One of the attractions unique to this area is cherry blossom viewing from a boat. The sight of the cherry blossoms looking up from the moat as the petals fall onto the water is particularly impressive. If the weather is good, you can enjoy the vivid colors of the cherry blossoms during the day, and at night, the area is lit up, creating an even more romantic view.

It is expected to be crowded during the peak cherry blossom season, so we recommend visiting on weekdays or at times when it is relatively quiet. There are also many historical spots around the Imperial Palace in the vicinity, so combining these with a walking course will make for an even more fulfilling cherry blossom viewing experience.

Cherry blossom trees in Ueno Park (a popular spot during cherry blossom viewing season)

Ueno is a classic cherry blossom viewing spot, and many people visit during the cherry blossom season. It can be said to be one of the most famous cherry blossom viewing spots in the Kanto region.

Ueno Park is easily Access from Ueno Station on the JR and Tokyo Metro lines, and is crowded with many visitors every year when the cherry blossoms are in full bloom. As a historic park, it is dotted with cultural and tourist facilities such as museums, art galleries, and a zoo within walking distance, and the reason for its popularity is that there are various ways to enjoy it throughout the day.

Many Yoshino cherry trees are planted in the park, and when in full bloom they create a tunnel of cherry blossoms. The park is also quite spacious, making it suitable for a wide range of cherry blossom viewing visitors, including those enjoying large parties and families.
