SARAS ART GALLERY, located on the second floor ART HOTEL Osaka Bay Tower will host "My composition," a group exhibition by six young artists, from February 1st (Sun) to May 30th (Sat), 2026. SARAS ART GALLERY is a space that resonates with people, based on the concept of "SYMPATHY," and showcases a variety of art works. This time, six young artists with less than six years of experience (Erina.T, Mashiro Shirosuke, Robapaka, Risa Takeda, Niwa Tsunemako, Poporo *titles omitted, in no particular order) are participating. Each artist has a different method of expression and theme, and while they stimulate each other, they are working towards expression and growth. The exhibition was realized with the hope that "even people who are not interested in art will casually come and see our work while visiting the hotel and get to know us." This exhibition is themed around "composing the inner worlds and expressions of each artist into a single structure," providing a space where visitors can easily peek into their unique worldviews. The exhibition brings together approximately 30 works using diverse techniques such as acrylic painting, pen drawings, and mixed media. Each artist's unique worldview, depicted with motifs such as animals, plants, and literary works, will deliver a comforting sense of peace and healing. Participating artists (in no particular order) Erina.T (Acrylic painting, mixed media) Instagram: @erina_fleure [Artist profile] Her passion for creation from her student days never faded, and she began her artistic activities in 2024. The following year, she also ventured into video and three-dimensional works, and held a solo exhibition at this hotel that same year. Currently, she is expanding her range of expression with the theme of "happiness in everyday life." [Introduction to the work] When there are flowers in a space, the impression of the place brightens, and one's feelings naturally become more relaxed. This feeling was the starting point for her work, which uses bouquets as a motif. [Message] I focus on the "happiness in everyday life" and create my work. I hope that viewers will enjoy the work while relating it to things and events that are close to them. The work has uneven surfaces and gloss, and the impression of the work changes depending on the lighting. Please look at it from different angles and up close. Mashiro Shirosuke (oil painting, acrylic painting) Instagram: @m.shilosuke [Artist Profile] Even before she started painting seriously, she loved living things, especially marine life and cats, and it all started with the feeling that "I want to live in the world of these creatures." She depicts stories of cats living with marine creatures that are creating a new ecosystem in what was once the deep sea. [Artwork Introduction] One of the works based on the world in which the cats Kuro and Charlie live with marine life. [Message] The world in which Kuro and Charlie live is also a world I would like to live in. I hope you enjoy seeing the little cats Kuro and Charlie playing amongst the large marine creatures. Robapaca (Acrylic painting) Instagram: @robapaca_illustration [Artist Profile] After interacting with alpacas, she has made alpacas her main theme in her artwork. She often draws inspiration from literary works. [Artwork Introduction] Created with Shakespeare's "A Midsummer Night's Dream" as the motif, imagining a fantastical slumber scene. [Message] The alpaca's eyelashes are painted with glitter paint, so they sparkle depending on the angle. Please pay attention to its eyes. Risa Takeda (Acrylic painting, mixed media) Instagram: @art.risa.takeda [Artist Profile] The texture etched by the sand and the flowing brushstrokes. These are fragments of the "sea" that sank to the bottom of distant memories. What I paint are not merely landscapes, but the mermaid's song someone once heard, the jewel-like colors sleeping in the deep sea, and the echoes of time gone by. The texture of the painting changes with the shifting light, reflecting the moment when a still scene from the past resonates with the present and begins to breathe again. [Introduction to the work] A work depicting what a seahorse, the gatekeeper of a lost empire at the bottom of the sea, looks up at. [Message] Lost Empire - Luchère Fragments of a nameless empire sleeping in the depths of the ocean, embraced by the flow of time, now appear on land. What I have painted are memories of the deep sea that no one has ever seen before. I hope that it will resonate with "something far away" within you. Please, come and gently open the door to the blue empire. Mako Niwatoko (acrylic painting, pen drawing) Instagram: @mako_niwatoko [Artist Profile] Primarily using acrylics and pen drawings, she paints fantasies like the world seen by a dreamer. In 2025, they also held a "glowing exhibition" where viewers explored the artwork by illuminating it with a light, exploring various methods of expression. [Introduction to the work] Depending on the viewer, the work can appear as prayer, sleep, an angel, or a bronze statue. [Message] I project the creatures that were born in my mind onto the canvas. Therefore, the rabbit, which is the motif I paint most often, is a projection of myself, or a god-like being to me, and so on. I would be honored if you would take the time to look closely at these lives that glow faintly in the darkness. poporo (acrylic painting) Instagram: @poporoart_gallery [Artist Profile] Using acrylics as the main medium, poporo creates two-dimensional works and three-dimensional sculptures. poporo's work is mainly themed on self-understanding, and the style changes from time to time. In order not to lose sight of the light in life, and to save herself, she continues to create, struggling to confront herself. [Introduction to the work] poporo's meditative walking road, depicting the scenery around the Shonai River. [Message] I created this artwork to comfort and reflect on myself, so I would be happy if viewers could also meditate and let themselves drift into the scenery.
