About using the service

What's the weather like?

In summer, the highest temperature is about 30°C and the lowest is about 15°C.
There isn't much snowfall in winter, but it does snow from late November to April, so please dress warmly. Also, if you are driving, please be sure to bring chains or studless tires.

Can pets stay with us?

We are sorry, but we do not allow pets.
If you are traveling with your dog, please use Wan Wan Paradise Yatsugatake.

What about cleaning when I stay multiple nights?

Cottages are not cleaned during your stay.
If you would like to have your towels or amenities replaced, please inform the front desk by 8:00 PM the day before.

Can I get transportation on the premises?

There is no on-site shuttle service.
For those arriving by public transport, we have rooms available within a 10-minute walk from the front building.

Is there a place to park my car? Or is there a parking lot?

Parking spaces are available at or near your cottage. We will let you know when you check in.

Won't you lay out the futon for me?

Sorry, this is self-service.

What time is check-in and check-out?

Check-in is from 15:00 and check-out is until 11:00.

Can I use credit cards or cashless payments?

We accept major credit cards, PayPay, and au pay. Payment is by lump sum only.

Is there a heater on?

We will provide heating in the winter. We also have electric blankets. We will turn on the heating before check-in so that your room will be warm when you prepare it.
* Heating fees are charged separately from November to April.

Are there any smoking rooms? Or non-smoking rooms?

Due to the recent enforcement of the Health Promotion Act, the increasing demand for non-smoking rooms, and our desire to provide our guests with a more comfortable stay in the clear air of the Yatsugatake Mountains, we will be making all Guest rooms (including terraces) non-smoking from March 1, 2026.

We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause to our smoking customers, and we appreciate your understanding and cooperation.

Is there Wi-Fi?

All cottage types are available.
Free Wi-Fi is also available in the front lobby.

About reservations

When do cancellation fees start to apply?

If you change or cancel your reservation due to your own circumstances, a change or cancellation fee will be charged at the rates listed below.
Changes to your reservation (such as a reduction in the number of people) will incur a change fee similar to the cancellation fee.
• If booking 10-4 days in advance, 20% of the accommodation fee will be charged.
- 50% of the accommodation fee if cancelled 3 to 1 day prior.
- If on the day of arrival, 80% of the accommodation fee
- If you do not contact us on the day of arrival, 100% of the accommodation fee will be charged.

~Notice Regarding Cancellations Due to Natural Disasters such as Typhoons and Earthquakes~
Cancellation fees will only be waived in cases of highway closures or public transportation suspensions due to natural disasters. Cancellations due to anticipated suspensions will be subject to cancellation fees.
*No cancellation fee will be charged for a single schedule change.

What age group is suitable for co-sleeping?

Children aged 0 to 3 years old are considered to be infants, so there is no accommodation fee if they share a bed with their parents.

I want to choose a cottage or a room to stay in.

Please wait until the day to find out. We do not accept any specific requests or specifications.

If I make a reservation for multiple buildings, can they be prepared nearby?

If you are staying in the same group, we will try to accommodate you within a 5-10 minute walk. However, if there are a large number of cottages or a combination of cottages, you may be separated.

About Guest rooms

Is the open-air bath attached to the room Hot springs?

We apologize, but the water is boiled.

Does it have a heated toilet seat?

This is included in top-grade cottages with kitchens, British-style designer cottages, premium logs, premium villas, and Welcome Baby certified cottages.
Other Guest rooms may not be equipped depending on the building and cottage.

What amenities are available?

Towels, toothbrushes, razors, shampoo, conditioner, body soap, and hand soap are provided in the room.

Do you have sleepwear and loungewear?

Please note that loungewear is not provided in cottages with kitchens, except for top-grade cottages with kitchens and Welcome Baby certified cottages, so please bring your own.
If you rent one at the front desk, it will cost 330 yen per night per item.
Room wear is available in other Guest rooms. *Only adult sizes are available.

What equipment is available in the kitchen?

Rooms with a kitchen are equipped with various cooking utensils.
Microwave oven, refrigerator, rice cooker, electric kettle (some electric pots), knife, pots (large and small), frying pan, bowl, colander, draining box, ladle, chopsticks, spatula, corkscrew, can opener, bottle opener, tea strainer, measuring cup, cutting board, dish soap, dishwashing sponge, rice paddle, teapot, dishcloth
*Please note that for hygiene reasons, we do not provide consumables such as plastic wrap, aluminum foil, or paper towels, nor do we provide condiments. (These items are available for purchase at the shop.)
*Please note that the cottages with open-air baths and the premium villas at Hana Hotel do not have kitchens.

Is there air conditioning?

Premium cottages and some top-grade cottages with kitchens are air-conditioned.
Other Guest rooms are equipped with electric fans, so please open the windows when using them.

About Food

Is there a dress code at Restaurant?

There are no particular dress restrictions, but please refrain from wearing loungewear.

Can I have a barbecue?

We apologize, but as our property is located in a forest, we ask that you refrain from using fire on the premises. (Except for the terrace barbecue plan)
During the summer months, we have a dedicated barbecue area available for your use.

Is there a children's Food?

For catering, we will provide the same items as for adults, but in different quantities.
If you choose the buffet, you can choose from the menu of your choice.

Is there lunch service?

Restaurant is not open for lunch.

If I stay for more than two nights, will Food contents change?

If you are using the food delivery (catering) plan, please select a menu for each night when making your reservation.

Can I make a reservation for Restaurant?

Unfortunately, we are unable to accept reservations in advance. Please note that we will accommodate guests in order of arrival.

There are some foods I can't eat because of allergies...

We offer a special menu (low-allergen menu) that removes as many of the eight specified allergens as possible.
For buffets, we have food allergy information displayed, so please refer to this before making your decision about what to eat and drink.

About the large bath and Hot springs

Can I use the large public bath for day trips?

Adults can use the bath for 1,200 yen, and children for 600 yen. *Towels included

Are there Hot springs?

There is a large Hot springs bath in the front desk facility.
There are no towels provided in the large Hot springs bath, so please bring the towels provided in your cottage.
Bathing fee for guests staying at the hotel: 600 yen for adults, 300 yen for children

Access

Is there a shuttle bus?

We offer shuttle service from JR Chuo Line "Kobuchizawa" and JR Koumi Line "Kai-Koizumi" stations.

Where is the nearest interchange?

It is about a 15-minute drive from Kobuchizawa Interchange.

Is there a map of the area around the accommodation?

Can I order a cake for an anniversary?

Please place your order by the deadline on the cake ordering site.

Can I send my luggage in advance?

Please write the date of your stay and the name of the person making the reservation on the slip and send it to the hotel address.

Are there electric vehicle charging stations?

Parking is available in front of the front building and in front of the community hall (lower level in front of the front desk). Please let the front desk know if you would like to use the parking lot.

Is it okay if an elderly person or a wheelchair user accompanies me?

We do not have any cottages that are completely barrier-free, but if you have guests with disabilities, we will try to provide cottages with as few stairs as possible, so please let us know when you make your reservation.

Can I get medicine at the front desk?

In accordance with Article 24 of the Pharmaceutical and Medical Device Act (formerly the Pharmaceutical Affairs Act), our hotel does not provide pharmaceuticals.
We apologize for the inconvenience, but we ask that you prepare your supplies before your trip or visit, or ask the front desk for information on hospitals and pharmacies in the area. (Please note that supplies may not be available depending on the time of day or day of the week.)
We appreciate your understanding and cooperation.

Is there a coin laundry?

There are fully automatic washing machines and dryers available in the building below the front desk.

Can I set off fireworks?

We apologize, but as the facility is located in the forest, we ask that you refrain from using fire on the premises.
However, during the summer business hours of the limited-time barbecue Restaurant [Forest Garden], the courtyard will be used as a fireworks plaza.

Is there anything I can rent?

UNO, playing cards, Jenga, and other games are available for rental.
It is on a first-come, first-served basis on the day, so if you would like to use it, please speak to the front desk after checking in.
